Research & Current Projects


Currently, my main research interests are the effects of maternal nutrition on the offspring traits. More specifically, I am interested in the effects of obesogenic diets and protein restriction on offspring behaviour and health. I mainly harvest data from published research and analyse these using meta-analytic approach.


  • Meta-analysis on trans-generational effects of maternal dietary manipulations,
  • Best practice and quality assessment in systematic reviews and meta-analysis,
  • Ontogenetic effects on 'Greater Male Variability' in human intelligence,
  • Transgenerational inheritance of enviornmentally induced phenotype in zebrafish
